Speaking For A Great Cause
Terry Fohey, CDT will specifically address the issue of lack of transparency in dentistry. He strongly believes that patients have a right to know the origin of items being placed in their bodies. This is a very real issue when 40% of all dental restorations are outsourced to other countries without consent and/or disclosure to the patient and possibly the dentist. Terry will discuss the common sense uses of technology and how to compete as a "Made in America" dental business.
The program, titled, "In the Foxhole Together" is very appropriately named. Terry will be donating his honorarium to the nonprofit Semper Fi Fund to assist critically injured Marines. He is being sponsored by and additional donations ar being provided by Inspired Dentistry of Charlotte, Inspried Dentistry of Davidson, and The Dental Arts Center. Three, double-amputee Marines and their families will be in attendance to accept the donation on behalf of the Semper Fi Fund. This event proves to be a lively debate for a terrific cause.
In addition to Terry's contribution, he has inspried Robert Kreyer, CDT and Brian Carson, CDT to follow suit and donate their honorariums to this organization as well.
