Mike Small is the owner/operator of Small Ceramics, a one man lab located in La Crescent, Minnesota. With a focus on aesthetics and customer service, Small Ceramics creates high-end restorations that keep both dentists and their patients happy. Mike started on the ground level in 2005 with no previous experience in the dental-related field. He quickly discovered that being a dental technician appealed to his artistic side and began learning everything he could from the experienced technicians around him. This thirst for knowledge and drive to create more natural-looking restorations led to his quick advancement up the ranks. In 2012, Mike opened Small Ceramics with only one account and now services many offices throughout the Midwest. He prides himself on staying up-to-date with the newest technologies and materials available in the dental lab world, but maintains that technology is but one tool in the belt of an artist.
Attendees should bring ceramic brushes, wet trays, and a handpiece with burs.
